Protect your In-Ground swimming pool with the Silver Pro solid winter pool cover. The polyethylene material, which does not allow water to pass through, is constructed with a 12x12 scrim (threads per square inch). Covers with a higher scrim will have a better overall quality, strength, and durability. The material weighs 3.28  ounces per square yard. The topside of this cover has been treated to inhibit UV rays and the bottom of the cover is black to help prevent algae growth. This cover has an additional 5 foot overlap to ensure complete coverage. The additional overlap supplies enough material to adequately ensure water tubes have a steady foothold on pavement. Reinforced, double-stitched borders include aluminum grommets every 4ft on in-ground cover for easy and secure tie-down. Heavy duty water bag loops are placed every 4ft on in-ground covers to keep the bags and cover firmly anchored. In-ground covers are 5ft larger than pool size.  A 1.5 inch marine-grade nylon binding boarders the entire cover providing enhanced protection from wear and tear. The Silver Pro winter cover is covered by a fifteen warranty.
