Product Details

Stabilizer & Conditioner raises the stabilizer (cyanuric acid) level of swimming pool water. The ideal stabilizer range is 20-50 ppm. Proper stabilizer levels stop the loss of chlorine caused by sunlight.

Directions for Use

Before Adding Product

• Clean and backwash the filter.
• Adjust the free available chlorine level to 1-4 ppm with Poolife chlorinating product. Follow label directions on that product.
• Measure the stabilizer (cyanuric acid) concentration with a Poolife deluxe 6-way Test Kit. The ideal range is 20-50 ppm. The chlorine is not as effective if the range is above 100 ppm.

Product Addition

• This application best effective if you have a sand filter

1. Turn on the circulation pump.
2. Add the correct dose of this product slowly to the skimmer.
3. Leave the circulation pump running and Do Not backwash for 48 hours.
4. Add 1 lb per 10,000 gallons to raise stabilizer 10 ppm.

• This application best if you have a cartidge system

1. Add product to a sock, nylon, or very fine mesh beg
2. Tie onto thermometer holder, ladder, or return port
3. Let product dissolve slowly over time
4. Add 1 lb per 10,000 gallons to raise stabilizer 10 ppm.

Water Balancing

To provide optimum product performance, swimmer comfort and crystal-clear water always maintain pH from 7.2 to 7.6, total alkalinity from 80 to 120 parts per million (ppm) and calcium hardness above 200 ppm. Test frequently making sure the necessary adjustments are made accordingly
