Sunny’s calcium hardness increaser is a great way to resolve low hardness levels. When the calcium hardness level in your Spa gets lower than 200 ppm, the water is considered aggressive. Aggressive water wants to fulfill its need for nutrients by pulling the minerals from the interior surface causing etching and corrosion on various components in a spa. If calcium is too high scaling can occur. To fulfill the need of the water, add Calcium Hardness Increaser to raise the calcium hardness. The ideal range is 200 - 400 ppm. Calcium Hardness Increaser should not be premixed or mixed with a small amount of water. Hardness Increaser, when mixed with a small amount of water or in a bucket, will go through a chemical reaction that will generate heat.

Calcium Hardness Increaser should not be introduced until after a water test is complete. Once a water test is complete, and the low calcium hardness level is confirmed, measure the suggested amount of Calcium Hardness Increaser into a chemical-safe container. Once the appropriate amount has been measured, cast it across the surface of the spa with the water circulating

Directions for Use:

• First and foremost, Calcium Hardness Increaser should not be introduced until after a water test is complete. 
• Adding 3/4 oz of product with increase calcium levels by about 10 ppm
• Always add directly to water, while water is circulating
• If calcium levels are too high with hard water try diluting half tub with hard water and other half with softened water (discontinue use of calcium increaser as it is not needed your case)
