Total alkalinity acts as a buffer to prevent the pH level from changing as additional chemicals or substances are added to the water. Any fluctuation above or below 80-120 parts per million (ppm) may cause the pH to be unstable with can lead to corrosion, cloudy water or scale formation. When the total alkalinity needs adjusting, use Sunnys Alkalinity Balance

Directions for Use:

• First and foremost Alkalinity Balamce should not be introduced until after a water test is complete. 
• Add 1 oz. of Alkalinity Increaser to spa water. Allow water to circulate for 30 minutes. Retest water and repeat until total alkalinity reaches the desired level of 80 - 120 ppm
• Always add directly to water, while water is cIrculating
