Directions For Use:

For use in hot tubs up to 600 gallons. Only use with the Frog @ease Mineral Cartridge. Ensure all hot tub equipment is working properly. Operate the pump and filter for at least 3 hours per day. Clean the filter following the manufacture guidelines. May be used with a previously filled hot tub unless it was sanitized with bromine. Then drain and fill with fresh water.

To Assemble

1. Remove outer packaging.
2. Align arrows on blue mineral cartridge and silver chlorine cartridge.
3. Push together and twist to lock.
4. Set the dial on the chlorine cartridge (see manual for chart)
5. Place entire system in hot tub
6. Shock the hot tub when replacing SmartChlor cartridge or once a month.

Replacing the Cartridge

1. When the system flips over, replace the SmartChlor Cartridge by rotating the two cartridges until the arrows align and pull apart.
2. Drain the water from the old Smartchlor Cartridge and shake slightly to see if it is empty. Follow disposal instructions and replace them with a new SmartChlor Cartridge. Do not discard or recycle cartridges if a small amount of chlorine remains.
3. Place in hot tub to float on its own until completely empty.
4. Keeping the pH in proper range of 7.2- 7.8 will allow SmartChlor to keep the free chlorine level between .5 and 1.0 with little adjusting.
5. With SmartChlor less shocking is required because it maintains a consistent level of sanitization even when people enter the tub.
