Frog @ease Mineral Cartridge
A complete two part system for hot tubs up to 600 gallons consisting of FROG @ease Mineral Cartridge disinfectant and FROG @ease SmartChlor Cartridge witch together provides fresh mineral water that is cleaner because it kills bacteria in two ways, cleaner because the minerals help keep the pH in an acceptable range with less monitoring and softer because minerals condition the water and with 75% less chlorine, the water feels soft and dose not fade swimsuits, damage equipment or create smelly odors. Replace the FROG @ease mineral Cartridge after 4 months of use or when draining and refiling the the tub with fresh water.
Disposal: After 4 months of use or when draining and refiling the tub with free water, discard FROG @ease Mineral Cartridge in trash even if, upon shaking, it appears there is spend media left inside. Once wetted the time released minerals in the cartridge are effective up to 4 months.

FROG Jump Start
This product perfectly accompanies the FROG @ease Floating Sanitizing System by starting up a freshly filled hot tub with an initial chlorine level. The effervescent action helps the chlorine to dissolve faster and the fizz tells you its working. For best results use the FROG Jump Start after balancing the water and before using your Frog system

Directions For Use:
For use in hot tubs up to 600 gallons. Only use with the Frog @ease Mineral Cartridge. Ensure all hot tub equipment is working properly. Operate the pump and filter for at least 3 hours per day. Clean the filter following the manufacture guidelines. May be used with a previously filled hot tub unless it was sanitized with bromine. Then drain and fill with fresh water.
Start Up
Balance the water in accordance to the water balancing guidelines with the pH between 7.2-7.6 and total alkalinity levels at 800-120 ppm. Calcium levels are also required to be 200-400 ppm. Establish a free chlorine residual of .5 - 1.0 ppm in the hot tub with Frog Jump Start start up shock or an EPA approved hot tub chlorine shock following the directions for that product. When using other products as outlined in directions always follow directions on those products.
To Assemble
- Remove outer packaging
- Align arrows on blue mineral cartridge and silver chlorine cartridge
- Push together and twist to lock
- Set the dial on the chlorine cartridge (see manual for chart)
- Place entire system in hot tub
- Shock the hot tub when replacing SmartChlor cartridge or once a month
Replacing the Cartridge
When the system flips over, replace the SmartChlor Cartridge by rotating the two cartridges until the arrows align and pull apart. Drain the water from the old Smartchlor Cartridge and shake slightly to see if it is empty. Follow disposal instructions and replace with a new SmartChlor Cartridge. Do not discard or recycle cartridge if a small amount of chlorine remains. Place in hot tub to float on its own until completely empty.
- Keeping the pH in proper range of 7.2- 7.8 will allow SmartChlor to keep the free chlorine level between .5 and 1.0 with little adjusting
- With SmartChlor less shocking is required because it maintains a consistent level f sanitization even when people enter the tub.
